Chester says, shiver me timbers! Does Jon Jon have a cataract in his right eye? That was how Ginger, our black cocker spaniel who died in 2010—and we still miss her terribly!—lost her sight. She had juvenile cataracts when she was only 5. We did surgery for them, but then she got glaucoma, and eventually became blind. It didn't stop her, though. She was just as spunky as ever. Eyes, ears and skin are the most common cocker spaniel problems as a breed. I'm hoping what I'm seeing on Jon Jon is just a camera glitch. If not, please get him checked out right away!
